Why FSU's Basketball Student Section is the worst in the ACC

I am going to be very blunt here, our student section is AWFUL! I am a student at FSU and in seminole sound and am tired of always jumping up and down and screaming as loud as I can for this team and then look over and see our students sitting on their butts. Gosh they barely even show up to the games anyways and when they do, they are barely make any impact on the game. And they are supposed to be loudest group at the game! The team this year is not as good as what people think, but if they have a rowdy student section behind their backs and intimidating the opposing team, well that would would maybe help a little. It helped a lot tonight when FSU beat Clemson tonight. It gave Snaer the motivation to hit that prayer of a shot to win it.

The majority of the student section was sitting on their butts for 59 minutes of the game either texting, gossiping with their boyfriends/girlfriends, or just not giving a damn about the game. We were down the entire game and this team brought themselves out of the deep and was able to win the game with the students barely giving a damn. What does this team have to play for? Certainly not the students. The fans that are sitting on the sides aren't that rowdy since their average is probably in the 50s. The students need to stand up, get rowdy, and scream and cheer for your Seminoles! It was embarrassing to call myself an FSU student tonight. I want our students to not be stuck behind the boards anymore and be moved to behind the benches. That would be so intimidating and loud but lets face it, the students DONT SHOW UP unless its Duke or North Carolina. Maybe if we get loud and obnoxious, FSU would realize that the 60 year old season ticket holders sitting behind the benches need to be moved to make TLCCC a more intimidating place to play.

Something needs to be done about our students. I don't know what but they need to step the hell up as students. It is absolutely embarrassing.
