Florida State Football Practice Report: 10/8

Melina Vastola-USA TODAY Sports

The Florida State Seminoles had Monday off, but they were back to work on Tuesday to take advantage of their bye week and begin Clemson preparation.

The Seminoles took to the practice fields Tuesday in shorts and helmets to begin preparation for their trip to Death Valley on October 19th.

Tyler Hunter was not at practice Tuesday. Jimbo will speak to the media after practice today and that will likely be the first question asked.

Bryan Stork and Demonte McAllister were not dressed out today, however they were hanging around and soaking up the walk-throughs.

Sterling Lovelady was taking snaps as the first team center today, and this is due to Austin Barron's class on Tuesday, so expect Barron back in there on Wednesday.

Terrance Smith is definitely a regular during the nickel and the dime. Smith has played very well against the spread, IMO.

There were a number of guys working as kick returner today. Expect to see Karlos Williams and Kermit Whitfield, as it has been the past couple of games. But Rashad Greene and Jesus Wilson were also getting reps today.

Roberto Aguayo was drilling field goals from 50 yards out.
