Dan Sileo fired for offering $1000 bounty to take out Florida State player

Former Miami player and radio personality Dan Sileo has been fired by 640 WFTL sports radio in Miami after offering $1,000 to any Hurricanes player to "take out" Florida State running back Devonta Freeman (though the picture he linked in his tweet was that of defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan, who also wears #8, like Freeman).

This type of nonsense is nothing new from Sileo

Sileo is no stranger to controversies caused by his own terrible judgment, as he was fired earlier this year from 560 AM after suggesting Miami players stab the opposing quarterback after a loss to Kansas State. He was also suspended after a series of misogynistic comments directed towards Erin Andrews, including one tweet that said "Love Erin Andrews either naked or in a porn. Not at a sports desk."

Sileo is angry because he believes the University of Miami backed the decision to fire him, he said on twitter:

I understand my comment was OVER the TOP and 640 is right to protect there station...GREAT SUCCESS to them...But I felt the FSU PLAYER  was PUSHING the U sign in my schools face...VERY disappointing to know the University of Miami lead the charge in this

a school I BLEED for and WON for..I am TREATED LIKE A DOG by them..JUST like the MIRAS they have SHIT ON

More than 38,000 people saw the original Facebook post, complete with pictures of the original tweets (Sileo deleted them, but it was too late). Many Florida State fans posted contact information for the station and its sponsors, and Sileo was fired just 24 hours after making the ridiculous offer.

As of 1:35 Monday, Sileo has not apologized publicly for any of his actions.
