Cautionary tale...We were favored by 11.5 in 2001 Orange Bowl...

After walking out of the verizon company box that lonely January night, I realized two things...Mark Richt not only accepted the Job at Georgia, he started it, long before this nights game. The other epiphany, was that I will never watch another bowl game from a luxury box again. Simply put, about as worthless as our offensive output that night.

Well, I offer that sad 13-2 defeat as a cautionary tale. Contrast it to the joy I had in New Orleans the previous January, I liken it to the recent Christmas nightmare last night of when my daughter replaced my Andrea Bocelli CD with her One Direction boy band. Nooooooooo.

In my apprehensive state, I over this up; If we played Auburn December 15, I see us winning by 14 points...with this long layoff? I have only the confidence of what is on paper, well, that and the certitude offered up on many other post.

Please, someone pick up the perfection that is the human instrument, of the Bocelli CD, step all over the boy band of Auburn's one direction, and offer me the unadulterated dose of swagger.

Tell me why, I will not see 2001, all over again! We were favored by 11, and lost, by11? Noooooooooo. Big Game Bob's first, and only, real closing success.

Well, save for the fact I will never accept a non football fan, crudite dippin', Chardonnay sippin', corporate box again!
