I don't read much about FSU golf here, although the program has been quite successful for several seasons, but here's a bit of news for those don't follow golf in general and FSU golfers in particular:
Jonas Blixt (2008 grad) won the Greenbrier Classic Sunday, coming from behind with four birdies over the last 10 holes for a final-round 67.
The victory was his second on the PGA tour and qualified him for the Masters.
Then the July 8 Golfworld arrived with a great piece about Brooks Koepka (2012). He won for the third time on the European developmental tour (equivalent to our Web.com) tour, earning a promotion to the European PGA tour. He also qualified for the British Open,
I guess there is a bit of irony in this: the Swede doing so well on the U.S. tour and the Floridian (Koepka is from Ft. Lauderdale) doing so well in Europe.
