Connelly Confusion

While reading Bill Connelly's team previews, I was confused by what appeared to me to be several inconsistencies in the "2012 Schedule and Results" tables from preview to preview. The "Adj. Score" and "Adj. W-L" columns were not consistent when looking at the previews of two teams that played each other last year. Here are some examples relating to FSU:

Florida State Preview

Date..........Opponent ...............Score......Result...Adj. Score....Adj. W-L
22-Sep......Clemson..................49-37...........W......55.1 - 23.3.........W
20-Oct......at Miami..................33-20...........W......31.6 - 10.8.........W

Clemson Preview
22-Sep.....at Florida State.......37-49...........L.......50.1 - 39.2.........W

Miami Preview
20-Oct.....Florida State............20-33...........L.......28.5 - 26.7.........W

How come in FSU's preview, our adjusted score against Clemson was 55.1 -23.3, with FSU being the adjusted winner, but in the Clemson preview, the adjust score was 50.1-39.2, with Clemson being the adjusted winner. How could the adjusted score and adjusted winner be different according to each preview???

Now, knowing full well that my football IQ is no where near that of many of the people on this site, could someone please explain to me how I'm completely misunderstanding this?

Thanks fellow Noles!
