It's hot, humid, and rainy today in Tallahassee, but the Noles trudged into the indoor practice facility today to start prepping for Boston College this weekend. Dustin Tackett and I were there today and we saw a few things.
An NFL scout from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was present today, observing the practice.
Christian Jones and Eddie Goldman were back and fully participating in practice today.
Mario Edwards Jr. is limited, but he was in shells working on some drills with the defense.
Ira Denson was present but was not dressed out for practice.
Tre' Jackson was fully participating in as the first team RG today.
From what we could see, Wilson Bell was not present at practice.
Tyler Hunter was also absent from practice.
Jeremy Kerr was not fully dressed out, but was still participating in a very limited fashion.
Derrick Mitchell is also fully participating in practice again.
Keelin Smith was taking reps in place of Tyler Hunter, and Jalen Ramsey was shadowing him at the safety position.
We saw the defense mostly practicing in Dime situations where PJ Williams and Ronald Darby were the cornerbacks, with Terrence Brooks and Keelin Smith in at safety.
Not a whole lot else to see today, but it is very good news that Kerr seems to be coming back from his injury. We will not be speaking to Jimbo after practice since we got him in the press conference earlier today.
