Florida State spring football: ESPN on campus as practice starts

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

ESPN will be on campus Wednesday to preview spring practice for the defending national champions. Florida State will take the field around 3:30 EST.

Jimbo Fisher and Jameis Winston will have press conferences at noon, and Tomahawk Nation will bring you live coverage of the event. We will also have streaming video on this page

Press conferences: Jimbo presser recap.

So far, we've previewed almost every aspect of the team entering spring.

-Linebackers preview: coming Wednesday

-More than just talent, FSU must replace big leaders (I know, I know, but it's true)

-Defensive backs: Who replaces Lamarcus Joyner and Terrence Brooks?

-Who will play center? What sort of depth is FSU working with on the offensive line?

-How can FSU avoid a major drop-off at wide receiver?

-Even with Dalvin Cook's shoulder surgery, FSU is loaded at running back.

-FSU has major questions at defensive tackle.

-FSU's tight end situation looks better than ever.

-Can FSU improve at quarterback? Yes.

While no team should be expected to repeat, at this point in the year, this roster definitely suggests a team that should again be among college football's elite.
