Clemson beat Florida State to open the baseball series in South Carolina Friday. But the dominant closer for the No. 1 Noles wasn't worried. After all, it's just Clemson.
On Saturday morning, he took to Twitter to remind everyone that FSU has always owned Clemson.
Clemson campus reminds me so much of Auburn— Jameis Winston (@Jaboowins) March 22, 2014
I gotta get my boosie fade back I'm tired of lookin at these lames wit it— Jameis Winston (@Jaboowins) March 22, 2014
He drove Clemson's fanbase crazy with a picture of Clemson's Memorial Stadium and the following tweet:
Our house 😌 pic.twitter.com/XuMGQWK0k5— Jameis Winston (@Jaboowins) March 22, 2014
Winston, of course, had a virtuoso performance in crushing Clemson in Death Valley before being pulled with a six-touchdown lead.
This caused quite the stir with Clemson players, as Travis Blanks, a Tallahassee native, responded and then deleted his Facebook response, and reserve offensive lineman Spencer Region responded with tweets like this one:
Winston can meet me in Death Valley one on one and let the best man call it his house... P.S I don't lose.... #REEGSPEAKS— Big Reeg (@real_og74) March 22, 2014
... and one implying Winston should be in prison.
Defensive end Shaq Lawson also followed up with a tweet.
Guess I will add Jameis to my sack list 😈— Shaq Lawson (@Shaq_Lawson90) March 22, 2014
As he's done throughout his career, though, Winston backed up the talk. After taking the first game of the double header, FSU roared back from a 3-0 deficit in the second game, and Winston recorded the final seven outs for a pressure-packed save. Full recap coming via our baseball guys, but Seminoles everywhere will enjoy Winston's final tweet leaving the stadium, and his teammates getting in on the act.

I think we did it big!!!! @Jaboowins— Demetrius Stewart (@GOOODJ8) March 23, 2014
Winston tweeted more overnight in response to the feedback he received for his earlier tweets.
Tweeting two pictures makes me have a big head and no class wow... But a stadium booing only one person is class?— Jameis Winston (@Jaboowins) March 23, 2014
As expected Clemson fans booed Winston during each plate appearance and relief appearance.
I apologize if disrespected anyone that competed and sacrificed on those fields I posted but if your a fan be a fan and enjoy the show— Jameis Winston (@Jaboowins) March 23, 2014
Not that it was necessary but he went on to apologize to whiny Tiger fans.
