Florida State's recruiting is going about as you might expect with Jimbo Fisher as head coach and coming off a national championship -- nine commitments, roughly half of them rated four-stars or better at this early juncture.
Thursday's batch of recruit scouting reports on SB Nation features two more big Florida State targets: running back Jacques Patrick, and receiver Deon Cain.
FSU is in extremely strong position with Patrick, of Orlando (Fla.) Timber Creek, and I would be very surprised if Fisher fails to reel in the big four-star back. In fact, I'm not even sure which school would be legitimately No. 2, or if there is even a true No. 2 at this point.
Florida State's position for Cain is not as strong. He has legitimate interest in Florida and Miami, as well as other out-of-state schools. FSU will need to get him to visit over the summer if it wants to land him.
Also profiled is Dexter Williams, a very good running back I expect to end up with the Gators.
