FSU is recruiting well without satellite camps because HS coaches trust Jimbo Fisher's FSU camp

While it remains to be seen if FSU will send anyone to other satellite camps, or if it will do them next year, FSU is not doing satellite camps in 2016. And yet it is still recruiting well.

One of the reasons why is that high school coaches truly love Jimbo Fisher's Tallahassee camp. And the feedback I get from them is that they like it so much because Fisher and his staff coach the kids extremely hard. All the kids, even the ones who have no shot to play in college or even be good for their high school. High school coaches appreciate this because they feel they are getting their money and time's worth. This isn't the case for all camps. Some camps are all about having fun and promoting the school and recruiting in a less serious environment. If you're gonna rent a van to drive seven players up four hours from Tampa, you want it to be worth it.
