ACC Approached Miami & FSU RE: Playing On Labor Day. FSU Says No

631
I was told that FSU told the ACC that it would not play this game on Labor Day. FSU does not want to play three games in 12 days. As it currently stands, here is FSU's September schedule. Louisiana Monroe Sept 3rd Charleston Southern Sept 10th Oklahoma Sept 17th Taking Miami on Labor day (Sept 5th) would force FSU to move the Louisiana Monroe game. That is not advantageous to FSU. If the ACC won't help out FSU, you can be sure the FSU won't be bending over backwards to help the ACC. Expect FSU to play Miami later in the year than normal. If this changes (perhaps if the ACC incentivises FSU), I'll let you know. But I seriously, seriously doubt it will.
