The Florida State Seminoles took to the practice fields Thursday afternoon to close out Oklahoma State preparation before hitting the airport, where they'll depart for Texas.
The players were in shorts and shells and remained inside through the entirety of the open portion of practice.
Chris Casher and Matthew Thomas were not at practice, and Ryan Green, Markus Eligwe and Colin Blake were not dressed.
Tre Jackson was dressed but remained limited during the open portion. Kareem Are, who seems to be the utility man for that offensive line, stepped into that role at right guard. With the offensive line depth being as comfortable as its been in a long time, this isn't as much of a worry as it would have been in the past.
Jesus Wilson did not participate during the offensive walk-throughs.
With Chris Casher's absence, DeMarcus Walker took those reps opposite Mario Edwards. The staff remains extremely confident in Walker's ability in that role.
They worked on quite a bit of kick coverage during Thursday's practice and the staff seemed pretty happy with what they saw. It looks like Karlos Williams and Kermit Whitfield will be returning kicks on Saturday, as expected.
Jimbo Fisher will speak with the media following Thursday's practice.
