Maryland is getting a good one in Stoglin. The Santa Rita High School (Tucson, Ariz.) guard kept Pump-N-Run in the game against Canada Grassroots Elite when it looked like things could get ugly. Stoglin drilled four big 3-pointers, teamed up for the play of the day on an alley-oop to teammate Erik Swoope and never let the defensive pressure of the Canadians take him out of his game.

Four three pointers and an alley-oop? Leading his team back against Myck Kabongo and Grassroots Elite? Sounds like Stog could see a rankings bump. -via Maxpreps

John Beilein and Tom Izzo have both been effective in describing roles that Zeigler finds attractive. At Michigan he could be Beilein's first marquee in-state recruit and the catalyst that helps the Wolverines turn the corner in their resurgence. At Michigan State he could become another cog in a well-oiled wheel that has rolled every four-year player into the Final Four. There have been moments where each situation has appeared more desirable than the other, which is why Zeigler has been so careful in maintaining a poker face throughout his recruitment. It also explains why he laughed off rumors that he was cheering and chanting for the Spartans during the only matchup between the schools last season.

Ballyhooed men’s basketball recruit Xavier Henry reportedly has expanded his list of possible college destinations. According to CBSSportsline.com, Henry had narrowed his finalists to Kansas University and Memphis and was to announce his decision at last weekend’s LeBron James Skills Academy. "I was going to make an announcement this week about where I’m going to college, but then I found out I’m still not sure," Henry told CBSSportsline. "I talked it over with my mom and dad, and now I’m not really sure where I want to go." Henry, a 6-foot-6 guard, now plans to visit Texas and UCLA, too, before deciding between his now-four finalists.
