Charges dropped against FSU CB Greg Reid

124

After reviewing the obstruction charges that were levied against Florida State cornerback Greg Reid earlier this week, the state attorney's office for the second judicial circuit decided to drop them Wednesday afternoon. "I'm very relieved," Fisher said after practice. He declined to offer a statement after Tuesday's practice. Tuesday was the first time the Seminoles had practiced since the arrest. "Like I said, 'Never make a statement until we find out all the facts,'" Fisher added. "Obviously, they thought the facts ... that's what they wanted to do. And we're very happy with that. Now, I had no control over that. So we're very pleased." Fisher added that the incident will have no bearing on Reid's status with the team. He will be allowed to play at Wake Forest on Saturday, Fisher added.
