This season's Champs Sports Bowl had a 3.6 rating, according to the Neilsen TV ratings. That marked a 64 percent spike from the previous year's bowl. The rating means that of all the households with televisions, slightly more than three percent of them were tuned to ESPN while the Seminoles and Irish played.
