Brett McMurphy of the Tampa Tribune: University of South Florida and Florida State officials have had discussions about a home-and-home football series that would start this fall in Tallahassee. The Bulls’ 2009 schedule is done, but USF is willing to substitute a road game — most likely at Indiana — to play at FSU. The Seminoles only have 11 games and need another home game. This would be pretty sweet. USF isn't good and FSU could silence a lot of rumblings about their "up and coming" program. USF loses their top 2 wide receivers, their RB, 4 of 5 starting offensive linemen, and 5 starters on defense. Good luck next year, USF. Returning senior QB Grothe threw 12 picks in 7 conference games. Let's all hope this gets done.
