I was very kindly asked by Seth of SBNation's New York Knicks site, Posting and Toasting, to share some of my thoughts about Toney Douglas. Head on over to their site to read the article and add your thoughts about Toney and his role in the Knicks organization.

The New York Knicks purchased the rights to this pick...so Toney is off to the Big Apple. Congrats to Toney and his family. He deserved to be a first round pick.
Let's hope this isn't their way of letting Toney down easy before giving the ACC Player of the Year to someone from the Carolina schools. Update: And they did let him down easy...Ty Lawson ACC Player of the Year. Toney ran away with the Defensive Player of the Year Award. Solomon Alabi received 3 votes. Leonard Hamilton was named ACC Coach of the Year, running away with that vote as well. Congrats Toney and Leonard! Take a look in the comments section for a break down of the stats. Congrats, Toney!
Once again, I am asking for your help to vote for Toney as the best point guard in the nation. He is currently second in fan voting behind Dominic James of Marquette. TNation, it's up to you to go out and represent. Here is my argument as to why he should get the vote: 1. He plays 36 minutes per game, for 90% of the teams possible minutes. 2. He is number one in the ACC in shot attempts and FG made. 3. He leads the ACC in total points and is 2nd in points per game. He ranks 20th in the nation in both categories. 4. He is 3rd in the conference in FT attempts and FT made. 5. He is 1st in the conference in total steals and 3rd in steals per game. 6. He is 10th in the conference in total assists. 7. He lead this team to a 4 seed in the ACC tournament and led the Seminoles to their first NCAA tournament appearance since 1997
