"I saw the handwriting on the wall," Bennett said. "I knew from watching Cadillac in practices because of how good he looked. He's their franchise back and they wanted him out there. On Monday, I didn't even get a rep in practice and I knew what was coming."

Fantasy Football Week 10 Results
The Fantasy Football Season keeps on chugging along. This week The Bull Gator handed Ghosthippo his second loss of the season leaving him atop the league with Sendawg who also has two losses. Speaking of Sendawg, he has reeled off three wins in a row, way to go man. I'm secretly hoping you meet your demise however, as its the only chance i have at saving face in the league. It pains me to say it, but I'm pulling for Ghosthippo in your match-up of top dogs this weekend... Here's the results in the league thus far:

Fleaflicker has been a fun league to be a part of, but there is one issue i have with the Fantasy Football provider: It's Add/Drop feature. First of all, get rid of the rating system in which players can pick up a player. If someone goes to pick up a player, he should be awarded that player should he be the first to claim him. My second complaint and the more serious of the two is having to wait a week to have players that have been added/dropped to officially clear the roster. What is that? I'm sitting there Sunday and my Tight Ends are a no go, so i attempt to add Daniel Graham just prior to kickoff, does he immediately join my team? Heck no, he gets added once the league resets itself after Monday Night Football. I'll admit I have a foggy memory, but I'm pretty sure NFL.com allows you to add players in real time. This doesnt stop me from enjoying the league, its just a major annoyance for slackers like me who wait til the last minute for everything. Moving on...
Gangplank, I hate to break it to you buddy, but you've already been eliminated from the Fantasy Football Playoffs in Week 10! WoW! Guess you truly are playing to be the spoiler. You're not alone however, although he hasnt been eliminated from the Playoffs, he has been eliminated from a first round bye, Dunnfann. I'd laugh even harder, but I'm soon to be in the same boat as you fellas.
Update your rosters!!!

"Recently, I decided to conduct my dissertation at Kent State University on sports fans (NFL fans) perceptions of each other, as well as winning and losing and how it affects fan behavior. As a part of this, I have decided that I could get much better feedback from NFL fans online than I could ever get from a room full of college students rushing through a survey for class points and so I'd like to present your readers with this survey..." - John from Kent State

"This is a defining game for us, We’ll look back at this one as one maybe we shouldn’t have had. At one point, I was sitting on the sidelines saying we’re not supposed to be a 5-4 team. What a comeback.’’ "It was a complete team effort, We knew KC had a young team and they gave us their whole playbook. They fought hard, but in the end we were the better team."

"I don’t know, man. Flip’s an incredible hitter. He’s probably one of the hardest hitters I’ve seen. He’s a great, great player. He’s Flip and I’m Sabby so you can’t really compare us."
That was starting Safety Sabby Piscitelli on the difference between him and Jermaine Phillips in terms of hitting.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers have two candidates for Hall of Fame this year

The final list of nominees that will be considered for election will consist of the 15 modern-era finalists and the two previously announced senior nominees, Bob Hayes and Claude Humphrey. Hayes and Humphrey were selected this past August by the Hall of Fame’s Senior Selection Committee.
The Class of 2009 will be selected from the list of 17 finalists (15 modern-era and two senior nominees). The actual voting will be conducted at the Hall of Fame Selection Committee’s annual meeting, which will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009, in Tampa, Florida the day before Super Bowl XLIII. The election results will be announced immediately after the meeting at a press conference in the media headquarters. While there is no set number for any class of enshrinees, the ground rules provide that between four and seven new members will be selected.
The preliminary list includes 110 players, seven coaches and 16 contributors. To checkout the possible candidates click here. including former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue and longtime team owners Bud Adams, Jerry Jones, Art Modell and Ralph Wilson.
110 players, sweet mercy, good LUCK trimming that list down. Of the 110 players there's a couple interesting names in there: TE Shannon Sharpe, TE Frank Wycheck, DE Bruce Smith, RB Terrell Davis, RB Ricky Watters, RB Hershel Walker, WR Irving Fryar, WR Andre Reed, WR Sterling Sharpe, DL Charles Haley, LB Kevin Greene, and S LeRoy Butler. Head Coaches Jimmy Johnson and Dan Reeves also perked my interest. I'm not saying any of these guys should be in the Hall, just that they specifically molded my interest in the Professional game of football.
As far as Hardy and Doug for the Hall of Fame, I never saw Doug play and so I won't cast an opinion there... Looking at the numbers, Hardy Nickerson had a very impressive career, but I'm not sure it's worthy of the Hall. The Bucs 'Ring of Honor'? Sure, but not the Hall... Some of you guys have to hark from way back, what are your thoughts on Doug and Hardy?
