More than our media outlet has announced that UAB has canceled their interview with LSU offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher due to the board of trustees not willing to approve his hire based on monetary reasons.
This will further fuel the speculation that Fisher will take the FSU offensive coordinator position. He was considered the favorite to take UAB's head coaching position.
