Someone is asleep at the wheel in the FSU athletic department since there have been no practice updates since Saturday, but here's what I've heard from Tuesday's practices.
-- The offensive and defensive lines battled to a near stalemate in one on ones with Everette Brown, Neefy Moffett, Jacky Claude and Cory Niblock doing particularly well.
-- Drew Weatherford threw several touchdown passes in red zone drills against the second-team defense.
-- The punting game has picked up, sadly the placekicking game still sucks.
-- Jae Thaxton is making a bid for a starting spot, mark my words.
-- Richard Goodman is en route to win his consecutive "Chris Rix practice MVP" award.
