Ok, Up-to-Date FSU Coaching Chart...

New, 5 comments

Here are the current coaches at FSU.

Head Coach: Bobby Bowden kept his job. Shocking I know.

Offensive Coordinator: FSU has announced the hire of former LSU OC Jimbo Fisher to take over duties as offensive coordinator, replacing Jeff Bowden, who resigned in November.

Quarterbacks: Fisher will also coach quarterbacks and FSU did not extend the contract of Daryl Dickey, QB coach from 2000-06.

Running Backs: Billy Sexton has "retired" and currently the position remains unfilled. Some are saying Edgar Bennett is an option, but I doubt it because he's not going to leave the pros for college in a lateral move. Also there's a rumor that John Lilly will be shifted from tight ends coach to running backs.

Wide Receivers: FSU has announced the hiring of USF receivers coach Lawrence Dawsey, who will replace Jeff Bowden.

Tight Ends: John Lilly is the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator. He has been rumored to be moving to coach running backs.

Defensive Coordinator: Mickey Andrews is in his 114th season as FSU's defensive coordinator. Andrews also coaches the defensive backs with the help over graduate assistant James Colzie.

Defensive Ends: Jody Allen is the defensive ends coach although rumors having him moving to offense to coach tight ends if John Lilly moves from tight ends to running backs.

Defensive Tackles: Odell Haggins in is his 11th season as the coach of the interior line. He would take over the entire defensive line if Jody Allen moves to offense.

Linebackers: Kevin Steele has departed FSU to take the defensive coordinator position at Alabama. FSU is currently looking for an LB coach with the rumor of former N.C. State head coach Chuck Amato being discussed but is reportedly a long shot.

Defensive Backs: Mickey Andrews is the coach with help from Graduate Assistant James Colzie.

Graduate Assistants:James Colzie is the defensive GA but I believe his time as a GA has expired. He has an offer for a full-time job from Colgate and he interview with Miami. If the Lilly-Allen-Haggins shuffle happens, it's expected that Colzie would get the full-time job as DB coach.

Ron Dugans is the offensive GA, but I'm not sure what his status is. I know the wide receivers have not always been a bright spot for the Seminoles in the last few years.
