HUGE Recruiting News...

Top-rated defensive back Patrick Johnson finally comes clean to

Sorry Miami.

After months of speculation surrounding stud defensive back prospect Patrick Johnson, the truth has finally come out: He will not be a Cane.

Johnson, a former Cane commitment, told recruiting analyst Mike Farrell moments ago at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl that he is down to a final three of LSU, Florida and Florida State.

Now for the little I know. I know for a fact that Jimbo Fisher was adamant on doing an in-home visit with Patrick Johnson after the first week of the state championship games.

Now I heard Johnson took a mid-week visit to FSU. Visiting with the staff and players on a Wednesday. When FSU is a major player for a top recruit and they want it to be kept secret, they will bring them in for visits on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Not sure who's officially recruiting Johnson, but Jimbo Fisher is the aggressor behind this one. As for FSU ties, Johnson's uncle is former Nole DB Bryant McFadden.
