There was some controversy about South Carolina prospect Markish Jones and his commitment to Florida State. Allegedly Jones signed letters of intent to both schools but only faxed the one to Florida State.
Unfortunately the ACC didn't see it that way. LOI became official at 9 a.m. on National Signing Day and Jones signed his LOI to Clemson at 9:01 before signing a later LOI to Florida State and faxing that one.
So Jones' letter of intent to Clemson is official and he's a Tiger.
It's a definite blow to FSU as Jones and Bert Reed were recruited by Jimbo Fisher to give the Seminoles a nice infusion of speed to go with the taller, bigger, perimeter receivers.
The Noles only signed two skill position players of their class of 19 although Tallahassee Lincoln prospect Brandon Paul could play either cornerback or wide receiver.
