...Currently there appear to be two finalists for the open tight ends job that was vacated when John Lilly left FSU to go to Georgia.
FIU offensive coordinator James Coley appears to be the front runner. Coley was a GA under Jimbo Fisher at LSU in 2003 and an FSU graduate. He's also a lifelong Miami resident who spent time coaching in Miami high schools before going to LSU and would probably take over that area as a recruiter.
Also former Auburn quarterback Dameyune Craig has apparently interviewed for the position. Jimbo Fisher coached Craig while he was at Auburn and now Craig is the quarterbacks coach for Tuskegee University, a Division II program in Alabama.
Meanwhile defensive ends coach Jody Allen interview for a special teams coaching job at LSU last week and he doesn't appear he got the position. That being said, it seems likely that Allen will interview for other jobs and might not return to the coaching staff either.
It's becoming more and more clear that Jimbo Fisher is calling the shots at FSU.
