John Brantley's father reportedly has prostate cancer. I wish the best for him, and he and his family deserve our prayers (or well-wishes if prayer isn't your thing). However, how is this front-page material for ESPN's CFB section? How many college athletes are there, and how many of them are going through some kind of hardship, either directly or through family or close relationships? To me, the love affair with UF just seems to be getting out of control. If this sentiment is inappropriate, please let me know.
