College football's big spenders

With all the talk about how far behind in money we are to the 'turds, I thought it was interesting to see how far behind they are to Ohio State. Any one think that this could indicate that the law of diminishing returns kicks in sometime? Ohio State spent $32.3 million on its program for the 2008-09 school year, the highest total in the land. Then came Auburn ($28.8 million), Iowa ($26.9 million), Alabama ($26.44 million), Tennessee ($22.96 million), Florida ($22.86 million) and Louisiana State ($22.74 million). Wisconsin ($22.71 million) ranks eighth.
