In some ways, the final-minute touchdown Kenny Shaw scored on Saturday late in Florida State's 31-0 victory against Wake Forest didn't mean all that much. The outcome had already been decided, after all. Yet the scene on the Seminoles' sideline after Shaw's touchdown suggested how much the moment did mean. His teammates celebrated as if he'd just made a game-winning catch as time expired. It wasn't that. But it was Shaw's first touchdown reception. And a sign that the freshman from Dr. Phillips High is beginning to emerge in his first season here.
