This is not a power poll. I don't attempt to rank teams based on how good I think they are. I only rank teams based on their resume. What have they done? Not how talented are their players or what other polls project them to do, but what have they done? The poll is designed to be dynamic. I try to start from scratch every week.
Same as always. Quality losses, quality wins. Not a power poll. If a team plays bad opponents then that team needs to win convincingly.
Notes: Should FSU be bounced instead of Notre Dame? Really a pick'em there. I know many of you will think Bama should be #3 and Oklahoma State should be #2. The problem is, both have solid arguments. We all need to complain less about who is #2 and more time about HOW each team earns the chance for a championship. Bet the Big 12 isn't so happy about blocking the plus 1 a while back. VT has less losses than Clemson but Clemson is ranked ahead. Hard to rank Clemson behind them though Clemson does have 1 very bad loss which VT doesn't have. Hard to believe that VT earned another BCS spot. Arkansas remains high. They got blown out twice but against 2 of the best teams in the country. Not even sure Houston or Southern Miss should be ranked, but think they are not too high up.
