ESPN's Joe Schad / Orlando Sentinel: FSU DC Mark Stoops may become next head coach at Ohio State.

63
A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Stoops is part of college football’s modern-day version of a royal coaching family. A decade ago, it was all about the Bowdens, now, the most recognized surname in coaching is Stoops. Along with Mark, brothers Bob and Mike are head coaches, leading the Oklahoma Sooners and Arizona Wildcats, respectively. Mark was on Mike’s staff before arriving in Tallahassee last fall. With his brothers already in the head-coaching ranks, it may be about time for Mark Stoops to make that step to. Again, not saying he will, if offered the Ohio State job. Just saying, these are compelling reasons for him to leave. Also, earlier today, Joe Schad reported that Mark Stoops is a more "realistic" candidate for the job because he is an Ohio native and Ohio State graduate.
