Tomahawk Nation's BlogPoll: Week 7

Tomahawk Nation's BlogPoll. Florida still holding the top spot.

This is not a power poll. I don't attempt to rank teams based on how good I think they are. I only rank teams based on their resume. What have they done? Not how talented are their players or what other polls project them to do, but what have they done? The poll is designed to be dynamic. I try to start from scratch every week.

Notes: Florida State got back on track, thrashing Boston College. It was good enough to move up one spot in the ballot. LSU ranks as the highest 1 loss team. They have an eight point loss to the number 1 team and a two point win to the 9 team. South Carolina punished, but remains top 10 for a close loss. West Virginia, not so much. They were absolutely throttled by Texas Tech. That is the definition of bad loss. Making it worse for West Virginia, a close win over Texas, isn't all that impressive anymore since Texas was demolished by Oklahoma. Texas, accordingly, was bounced off the ballot. Thoughts? Who belongs, who doesn't? Who was left off and shouldn't have been?
