What kind of year has it been in the ACC? Duke enters Doak Campbell at 6-2 and bowl eligible for the first time since 1994. They beat rival UNC after getting blasted by 4-4 Virginia Tech the week before. That kind of year.
The 'Noles return home after a costly win over Miami. Fans are eager to see how Florida State responds after losing team leader, on and off the field, Chris Thompson. Devonta Freeman looked great in meaningful minutes against Miami. The more carries James Wilder Jr gets, the more he wears down a defense. Getting the two sophomores settled in as the new starting duo is important against Duke. It's an important step in getting FSU's offense used to football without talented Thompson. Look for senior Lonnie Pryor to get more touches as well.
The noon games are, well, pretty awful. The only one that 'Noles need to worry about is NC State vs. North Carolina. Will NC State escape again with a win or has their luck run out? Then there's the night games. Couple there probably wroth watching.
