This is not a power poll. I don't attempt to rank teams based on how good I think they are. I only rank teams based on their resume. What have they done? Not how talented are their players or what other polls project them to do, but what have they done? The poll is designed to be dynamic. I try to start from scratch every week.
Notes: Multiple previous top 10 teams and undefeated teams lost Saturday. Florida gets bounced but not out of the top 10. Georgia of course the big winner there. Should Florida's overall resume keep them in front of the Dawgs? Florida State and Clemson also benefactors of space made available by vacated teams. Whole lot of teams ranked that weren't last week. Arizona makes an appearance with three losses. As we get closer to the end of the season, that will likely happen quite a bit with other teams. There have been complaints (not from TN readers) that Boise State should be ranked. They have no quality wins and their loss is to 5-4 Michigan State. Lousiana Tech gets in as the team that 'plays no one but wins games.' Their only loss is by 2 points to Texas A&M.
