Tomahawk Nation's BlogPoll: Week 10

Very little change in this week's Tomahawk Nation BlogPoll.

Mike Ehrmann

This is not a power poll. I don't attempt to rank teams based on how good I think they are. I only rank teams based on their resume. What have they done? Not how talented are their players or what other polls project them to do, but what have they done? The poll is designed to be dynamic. I try to start from scratch every week.

Notes: Alabama jumps up a spot with a win over LSU. With a win over Texas A&M, they might secure first place. Notre Dame drops one spot. They struggled mightily, and got lucky, against Pitt. Their overall resume is still better than Oregon. Oregon's best win is now over 6-3 USC. Florida State doesn't budge after the bye week. Louisville moves up. Too far? Perhaps. Should Oregon State be above the two 2 loss SEC teams? Their loss is right on par with FSU's and they have a couple decent wins. While they don't have a signature win, they perhaps have a better overall resume. They play Stanford this weekend. Win that and they will certainly be above the 2 loss teams. This poll includes Louisiana Tech, Toledo, and Northwestern. Yes, it's come to that.
