Number 4 Florida State, fresh off of a beat down of Wake Forest, welcomes division rival Clemson to Doak Campbell Stadium. Tenth ranked Clemson enters with their own signature win over Auburn. The Tigers defeated Auburn without sophomore phenom Sammy Watkins. Watkins did return for Clemson's win over Furman. He showed little signs of rust and added rushing threat to his already impressive skill set.
The major theme of this game seems to be how FSU's deep, talented defense will match up with Clemson's dynamic playmakers. Of course that is only half the story. The Clemson defense has had it's fair share of difficulties in this young season. How will Florida State's inexperienced offensive line match up with Celmson's young defensive line? Read more about what to expect here.
If you are attending the game, get their early and bring the noise. Doak rarely reaches ear splitting decibels that deliver peak home field conditions. When it does, the atmosphere rivals many of the best college stadiums. Clemson runs a hurry-up-no-huddle offense. These offenses can struggle in hostile environments (see FSU/OU 2011). You know your mission, execute accordingly. Make the Doak shake.
