Tomahawk Nation Podcast: Previewing Miami & fighting ALS

Melina Vastola-USA TODAY Sports

Ingram Smith and Bud Elliott return for another edition of the Tomahawk Nation podcast. We open up by discussing the return of Bobby Bowden, and the ceremony to open the game with all of his former players. The discussion then briefly moves to the N.C. State game.

But most of the podcast is spent discussing Florida State's game against Miami. We talk about the historic spread, and get into the matchups. Could Miami win? If so, how? What does the game mean for Florida State's chances with the BCS system? And what does it mean for Florida State football recruiting?

And today, we're going to help raise money to fight ALS, as well. My friend T.J. Donahue is trying to win the Home Depot "Gameday Social Host" contest. To do so, he must get the most "Going" RSVPs for his facebook event. And for every "going" RSVP he gets, he'll donate $0.05 to fight ALS.

1. Click here to go to the Facebook event.

2. Select "join" (NOT: Maybe or decline). This does not obligate you to do anything, at all. There is no actual event to attend.

3. The podcast link will appear, and you can download it or click it to listen on your device. (This works for mobile and non-mobile users).

4. Spread the word to your friends! If T.J. actually wins the contest (good chance with your help), he'll double the donation.

People who attempt to post the link in the comments section and try to go outside the facebook system before 5 p.m. EST will be banned.
