Yet again, the 'Noles enter a new week after dominating their opponent in the previous game. This time, Syracuse was the victim. Next up: Idaho. Florida State aims to maintain its commanding form this upcoming weekend as the team hosts the Vandals from Idaho. Once again, FSU is a heavy favorite to win. Originally, this game was probably intended to be a tune-up for the annual rival match against Florida. If you haven't heard, the Gators are not doing too hot this season. But, there is no need to go further there -- this week's focus is Idaho.
FSU will look to continue its consistent and focused gameplay this weekend. An ongoing sexual assault case with star quarterback Jameis Winston's name somehow linked does not particular help the focus of the team; however, if last weekend's game versus Syracuse serves as an indicator of Florida State's focus, fans should not be too worried about the quality of the product Jimbo and company put on the field Saturday. It should be an easy win for the 'Noles. With that said, Jimbo will still be available to answer your questions tonight. Just do not ask him about the Winston issue because an answer will not be given.
Head coach Jimbo Fisher and host Gene Deckerhoff will orchestrate this week's call-in show from the Four Points by Sheraton hotel in downtown Tallahassee at 7 p.m. EST. The show is often pretty entertaining, so we will be here to provide live updates for you to follow. Feel free to join in and give your thoughts in the comments section. Often the show is full of coach speak, so call in and ask Jimbo a creative question or two. The number to dial for the show is 877-99-NOLES.
