Florida State football recruits react to beating of Miami

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Spor

Florida State put all of its regular season recruiting chips in on the Miami game. There was far more talent on the sidelines for this contest than for all other home games combined. And the Seminoles cashed them in, dominating Miami in front of a record crowd.

Florida State feels tremendous about how the weekend went, but it's also worth noting that the staff was already very confident about its recruiting this season.

I'll continue to update this throughout the early parts of the week. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Let's hear from the players in their own words.

FSU football great and doctor Myron Rolle got to spend some time with them.

Chad Mavety

Mavety is one of the most important remaining targets for FSU. The massive JUCO offensive tackle had a great time.

Malachi Dupre

Dupre could not make the game, but did follow it. The 5-star receiver is considered a strong LSU lean, but he does like FSU a lot.

Ermon Lane

Like Dupre, Lane was also not at the game. But the 5-star receiver did tweet some very interesting stuff.

Shai McKenzie

McKenzie is a good running back out of Pittsburgh and has an FSU offer.

Adoree' Jackson

The 5-star cornerback from California had a great time.

"Look's sweet don't it."

Marlon Humphrey

The five-star cornerback from Birmingham seemed to have a great time as well.

Arrion Springs

I really do not see FSU having much of a chance with the Texas corner committed to Oregon. He did tweet about hanging out with Shai McKenzie.

Joe Mixon

Mixon is a five-star RB out of California. He seemed to be having a great time, joking around, and was wearing what looked to be 3D glasses.

FSU commits

Markell Pack

FSU's two quarterback commitments enjoyed the atmosphere (Cosentino was not at the game, as he came last week).

J.J. Cosentino.

Arthur Williams

Tomahawk Nation spoke with the talented Florida State defensive line commitment.

It was Spectacular. The best atmosphere in college football. My mom which is my main factor in my recruiting process was in love with the program and said that she had a blast. Coaches treated us like family and the team played great especially the defense. Overall great first trip to tally for a game, Happy to be a nole #FearTheSpear

Youngsters

I'd argue that the impression made on the youngsters is even more important than that made on the current high school seniors.
