A less than stellar start for FSU had them trailing for the first time all weekend but a depleted Trojan's bullpen couldn't contain the Noles' offense. The game was busted wide open in the 4th inning when Brett Knief hit his first homerun of the season, a grandslam that put the Seminoles up 9-3. They never looked back as Gage Smith, Billy Strode and Robby Coles shut down any comeback effort.
Florida State now awaits the winner of the Bloomington regional that currently has Indiana leading Austin Peay 3-0 in the 4th inning. Indiana clinces their regional with a win.
Ryan will have the postgame story and tons of photos after the presser.
Enjoy it fans, Florida State is playing some of the best ball in the country right now.
