Florida State football practice report: 10/14

It poured Tuesday, but the 'Noles were nice and snug inside their indoor practice facility.

Jimbo Fisher update:

Fisher said Pender is questionable for Saturday's game (ankle), and that Rashad Greene is fine - Monday was just a precaution.

Fisher also commented on the Jameis/autograph situation and doesn't seem to be concerned with it at all.

Karlos Williams apparently took full reps on Tuesday, per Fisher, as well.

The Florida State Seminoles continued preparation for Saturday's top-5 matchup against Notre Dame Tuesday afternoon, following a day that brought tornado warnings and flash flood warning to Tallahassee.

Austin Barron, Markus Eligwe and Sean Maguire continued their streak of not dressing out, while Mario Pender joined that list. Pender was wearing a boot. Maguire, who is recovering from a hand injury, held a football in his throwing hand the entire time, strengthening his grip in preparation for his return.

Rashad Greene, who was not dressed on Monday, was back in pads and participating Tuesday.

Trey Marshall was also fully participating Tuesday, working ball drills alongside P.J. Williams.

Matthew Thomas continues to get more and more repetition, and was part of the first team on kick return. Thomas also spent time, alongside Terrance Smith, working with the first team defensive line. It seems, as we have suggested, that Thomas will likely find himself playing the Mike, utilizing his speed and athleticism with delayed blitz packages.

Karlos Williams seems limited, even though he has dressed out on consecutive days. Ryan Green has now stepped in next to Travis Rudolph on second team kick return.

Jimbo Fisher will speak with the media following Tuesday's practice, as will a few players.
