Florida State hasn't won pretty this year. Neither has Notre Dame. The 'Noles offense has been gaining momentum. Jameis Winston has started to trust targets not named Nick O'Leary and Rashad Greene. The defense, however, is still showing signs of growing pains. The 'Noles hope to get a boost from the return of DT Derrick Mitchell and LB Matthew Thomas. Last week, FSU had a very business like win at Syracuse. Notre Dame is coming off a shootout with UNC that came down to an onside kick. No, this isn't the Game of the Century Part II. But, for end of the year implications, it is as important as they come.

Get your day started off with some Big 12 action. No, seriously. K-State travels to Oklahoma for a solid ranked game. Oklahoma had a disappointing loss to TCU, then barely squeaked by a bad Texas team. K-State blasted UTEP and Texas Tech after losing to Auburn by 6. Oklahoma is a 7 point favorite at home. Syracuse travels to Wake Forest and I DARE YOU TO WATCH. Virginia is on the road to play Duke in what is, no joke, an important Coastal Division game.

Your ranked afternoon game is consists of a Texas A&M team that has been demolished two games in a row and Alabama. That's Alabama, who beat Arkansas, because Arky missed an extra point, and lost to Ol' Miss. Bama is a 14 point favorite. The chances the Aggies bounce back on the road in Tuscaloosa are slim. A loss would make it three in a row which would finally get them bounced from the rankings. Clemson travels to Boston College. Florida State fans should hope that the Tigers can still win a bunch of games without freshman phenom Deshaun Watson. Don't forget, Oklahoma State at TCU. An Oklahoma State win would be great for Florida State.

There's other games on that you need to pay attention to. Bud Elliot gets you all educated on who needs to win and who needs to lose to help the 'Noles get to the playoffs.
