Florida State football, recruiting news 10/27

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

-Former NFL Quarterback and current analyst Shaun King tells Yahoo Sports that Jameis Winston is "ten times the prospect" Oregon QB Marcus Mariota is. Interesting perspective from a former player.

-Brendan Sonnone of the Orlando Sentinel writes that Jalen Ramsey is starting to shine in his new role at the "star" position. Ramsey had a fantastic game against Notre Dame last weekend.

-Tim Linafelt of Seminoles.com writes that Travis Rudolph is emerging as a reliable target for Jameis Winston and the Seminole passing attack. Greene, O'Leary, Wilson, and Rudolph have turned into an unstoppable force for the FSU offense this season.

-More from Linafelt as he writes the Seminole defense is well aware of the challenge Louisville WR DeVante Parker presents. The 6'3 Senior is widely regarded as a first round pick in this year's NFL Draft and in his first game of the season last week caught nine passes for 132 yards. I am extremely interested in seeing how he matches up against PJ Williams and Ronald Darby.

-Jeff Greer of the Courier-Journal grades Louisville up to this point in the season. A good look from one of their beat writers.
