Florida State football rooting guide, TV listings

Every week we take a look at what results across the country could most benefit Florida State's chance winning the college football playoff. This is a change from previous weeks, in which we chose who to root for based on what gave FSU the best chance of reaching the playoff.

We'll be grouping these by conference.

SEC

-Florida at Georgia: Gators, giving UGA its second loss.

-Auburn at Ole Miss: Auburn, because they still have games at Alabama and at Georgia.

-Arkansas at Mississippi State: Arkansas, because obviously.

Big Ten

Root for Nebraska and Ohio State so that the Big Ten champ has some decent wins.

Big XII

Root for all of the higher ranked Big XII teams to stay alive so that the Big XII champ gets in the playoff.

Pac-12

-Utah at Arizona State: Sun Devils, because it makes Notre Dame's schedule look better.

-Stanford at Oregon: Oregon, because if the Ducks lose, the Pac-12 may get shut out of the title game.
