Florida State football practice report: 10/7

The 'Noles continued preparation for their trip to Syracuse.

The Florida State Seminoles continued their preparation for Saturday's game against Syracuse. As Jimbo Fisher said during his Monday press conference, crowd noise inside the dome can be a different kind of noise, so the 'Noles were getting ready to pump some noise during practice.

Rashad Greene (concussion), Demarcus Christmas (high ankle sprain), Sean Maguire (hand) and Karlos Williams (ankle) were again not dressed on Tuesday. And Austin Barron wasn't at practice.

Trey Marshall, who missed all of last week and Monday, was back in pads but wearing a blue no-contact jersey.

The offensive line continued to get every center a turn at snapping the ball, but Ryan Hoefeld, who came in after Barron went down against Wake Forest, continues to be the first in line.

Markus Eligwe and Matthew Thomas continue to get more and more work during practice. Here's a clip of Thomas running drills.

Jimbo Fisher will speak with the media following Tuesday's practice, as will a few players.
