The Florida State Seminoles, following another exciting win on the road this past weekend against Miami, returned to the practice fields on a frigid Monday afternoon to begin preparation for Saturday's contest against Boston College.
The players were without pads and helmets, and remained inside (yet another bonus for the IPF).
Roberto Aguayo, Lorenzo Featherston and Adam Torres were the only three that were clearly not participating, but because of the no-pads-no-helmet things it's hard to be certain on others. Unlike last week, Aguayo was hanging out at practice in tennis shoes and carrying around a football though, so I wouldn't worry about this one at all. As we saw against Miami, and after missing 2-3 days of practice, Roberto is a Robot set to "dominate."
As was pointed out during Jimbo Fisher's press conference, Roderick Johnson was taking full reps as the starting left tackle and Cam Erving found his place at the center position. This is something that we've seen bits of for a while now, and it was pretty clear against Miami that this is the best look for FSU's offensive line.
With Aguayo not taking reps, the left-footed Jonathan Hernandez manned Aguayo's post.
Jimbo Fisher will not speak with the media following Monday's practice.
