-Sports Illustrated discusses the newest release of the College Football Play Off rankings. It's amazing how contradicting of itself this committee seems, it's almost hilarious.
-David Hale of ESPN writes that Florida State moved Cam Erving to center to improve in an area it direly needed to. This move best helps FSU's line moving forward if it wants to repeat as national champions.
-More on Erving as Tim Linafelt of Seminoles.com writes that Erving played well being thrust into the spotlight of the FSU/UM rivalry. Erving and Rod Johnson's debuts at their positions had the Seminole line looking the best it has been all season.
-Before last night's releasing of the newest rankings, Stewart Mandel of Fox Sports wrote that FSU would likely be ranked number one in the BCS standings if those were still around. Maybe the computers knew better?
-Alligator Army takes a look at where Florida stands after forcing head coach Will Muschamp to step down. Pretty good read.
- SodTalk at the Sod Cemetery continues this Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with Seminole Legends from Bobby Bowden's Saturday Night Fever Seminoles, Quarterbacks Wally Woodham, Jimmy Jordan and receiver, Kurt Unglaub. The Leon High School trio lead Bobby Bowden's resurgent teams in 1976-1979. Woodham threw for more than 3,500 yds and 22 TDs, while his teammate Jordan threw for more than 4100 yds and 39 TDs. Unglaub has two of the all-time longest TD receptions in FSU history, 96 yards against Virginia Tech and 91 yards against North Texas State. Free autographed action photos will be available.
