Welcome to December! The Noles have already played 12 games and continue to have more answers than questions as the season has progressed. Here are some daily links to start off Championship Week:
-Cam Erving received his second straight Jacobs Blocking Trophy given annually to the ACC's best blocker as voted by the coaches. I didn't think Erving was as good in 2014 as he was in 2013 at tackle, but give him credit for stepping in at center and really improving the Seminole offensive line.
-Andy Johnston of the Atlanta Journal Constitution says that this weekend's results for the ACC against the SEC helped strengthen Florida State's schedule strength claims. I agree in that this was a big weekend for the conference in debunking ideas that the SEC is head and shoulders better than the ACC.
-David Hale at ESPN hands out his helmet stickers from this weekend's games.
-Auburn is firing defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson after two seasons according to Al.com. Brandon Marcello lists potential replacements for the job. Included is FSU DC Charles Kelly. Could Kelly leave FSU for Auburn? I doubt he will want to for a few reasons. Who all do you think will be the best fit there? Muschamp seems like an obvious candidate.
-Dan Wolken of the USA Today does his weekly "Misery Index." Pretty funny read.
