Florida State football, recruiting news 12/16

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

-ESPN breaks down the match up of Florida State's offense against the Oregon defense. I think the Noles have a nice advantage here. Oregon has been pretty good defensively this season but hasn't faced a side as dynamic as the Seminole offense. With the emergence of Dalvin Cook and the offensive line I expect the Noles to put up plenty of points against the Duck defense.

-On the flip side here is the break down of Oregon's offense against the FSU defense. Can Florida State limit the Oregon offense? They without a doubt will score many points but the key for the Noles will be to get enough stops to win.

-Steve Lassan of Athlon Sports ranks the best 10 ACC games of the 2014 season. Lots of FSU finishes here; which game this season has been your favorite/most memorable? Discuss why below.

-It's a slow day for Noles News so let's look at some other teams with ties to FSU. Georgia Tech has an important match up against an SEC foe and has another chance to get the ACC a big win. From the Rumble Seat analyzes the Mississippi State schedule and comes up with some observations on how the Jackets can beat the Bulldogs. Good read here.

-The Florida Gators are looking for new leadership under head coach Jim McElwain. Alligator Army discusses what he must do to turn UF around.
