Florida State football practice report: 12/19

The 'Noles finished up their first week of Oregon preparation Friday afternoon inside the IPF.

The Florida State Seminoles continued Oregon preparation Friday afternoon inside the indoor practice facility, thanks to a very cold rain. And with the first week wrapping up, the Seminoles seem healthy.

DT Eddie Goldman was not dressed out again on Friday, as he continues recovery from the ankle injury he suffered against Georgia Tech. OL Chad Mavety was also not dressed. Delvin Purifoy and Colin Blake were also hanging around working on some cardio.

Nile Lawrence-Stample was in shells again on Friday and doing more than he has done all week, participating in team stretches, ball swarming drills and defensive tackle drills. While Lawrence-Stample looked more involved, he still was without full gear and I would assume contact.

Tyler Hunter and Trey Marshall were both back in full pads and participating. Tre' Jackson, who had missed some practice due to an illness, was back and participating as well.

The defense continued to work on ball swarming drills, mixed in with a lot of pace to improve conditioning. This will be crucial against the Ducks.

Jimbo Fisher will speak with the media following practice, as will a few players.
