Florida State is headed to Pasadena to take on Oregon in the Rose Bowl. No, it's not New Orleans (which I wanted badly for selfish reasons), but Southern California works too. So as the great "Biggie Smalls" once said, "I'm going going, back back, to Cali Cali." Here are some links to get the week started:
-Steve Lassan at Athlon Sports gives five reasons he believes Florida State will win the college football playoff. What's your key to the Noles winning their second straight title?
-I think Dalvin Cook will be the X-factor for FSU as he has really turned it up a level of late and carried the team on his back.
-ESPN's Chantel Jennings and Jared Shanker give an early break down of the Noles and Ducks playoff match-up.
-More from ESPN as Andrea Adelson writes that Florida State proved its worthiness of receiving a playoff spot with another win in the ACC Championship game.
-The Associated Press says two of the best quarterbacks will be on display when the Noles and Ducks meet on January 1st. Winston and Mariota will have a chance to prove who the better player is once and for all in the Rose Bowl. Huge storyline here for the game.
-Martin Rickman of Sports Illustrated says Florida State did enough to finish the season undefeated and its best football could be still to come.
